Teacher Appreciation Week! May 4th – May 8th: (CLICK HERE to view the Teacher Appreciation Week Flyer)
We would like to invite all Arizona students to participate in daily gratitude for their teachers during the week. You may participate one day or every day.
- Monday: Write your teacher a note or give them a card to thank them.
- Tuesday: Give your teacher a school supply.
- Wednesday: Give your teacher a sweet treat or Candy.
- Thursday: Create a note for your teacher during lunch and deliver it to them.
- Friday: Give your teacher a flower to make a class bouquet.
Arizona Family Arts & Crafts Event!

Arizona Boys Basketball Team: Middle School Champions!

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony: Wednesday, May 27th: 9:30am (Norte Vista High School: Zack Earp Stadium)
- Students MUST arrive by 8:30am to Check-In. Due to the large number of people in attendance, all guests are encouraged to arrive by 8:30am to make it to the event on time.
- In order to participate in the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, students MUST meet the following Grade Level Expectations:
- Attain a 2.0 (“C”) grade point average.
- No failing grades (“F” grade) in language arts, mathematics, science, or history. No more than one failing grade in physical education or elective classes.
- In order to participate in the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony, students MUST meet the following Grade Level Expectations:

***In order to participate in the 6th, 7th, 8th Grade Field Trips/Events/Dances, and/or the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony:
- Students MUST meet the following Grade Level Expectations and have No Major Discipline Infractions:
- Attain a 2.0 (“C”) grade point average.
- No failing grades (“F” grade) in language arts, mathematics, science, or history. No more than one failing grade in physical education or elective classes.
- In our efforts to support your child: The teachers and counselors will be contacting students in danger of receiving D’s or F’s and discussing ways to improve their grades. We also ask that all students that are currently not meeting Grade Level Expectations to attend our Before School and/or After School Tutoring.
- Students that purchase tickets without meeting Grade Level or Behavior Expectations will be issued a refund.

Attendance: Short-Term Independent Study
- If you know in advance that your child will be absent for two or more days, please call our attendance office so we can place them on a Short Term Independent Studies contract.
- This Contract allows your child’s absences to be cleared so they do not count against their attendance. Your child would just need to complete any assignments they missed while they were absent.
