New 6th graders 2024-2025 Elective Choices

EXPLORATORY

The 6th Grade Exploratory Classes are a Technology Elective Rotation class at Arizona Middle School. In this class students will rotate to a new Elective Course every 12 weeks.

- Rotation 1: CTE Modules (12 weeks)

o Flight & Drone Technology

o Intro to Computer Science

o Intro to Engineering & Design

o Video Production 

Rotation 2: Innovative Learning Curriculum – Virtual Reality/3D Design (12 weeks)

o Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality to Design a 3D Model of a Sustainable City

Rotation 3: Intro to Google Suite & CalFresh Healthy Living Up4It Curriculum (12 Weeks)

o Intro to Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Hangout

o UP4It CalFresh Healthy Living Curriculum: Sponsored by the University of California ANR

CHOIR

Do you like to sing? Mr. Torres' choir class is a great way to show us your singing abilities. 

BAND

Like to play instruments?  Want to learn how to play an instrument?  If so, join band class! 

AVID

Arizona Middle School is an AVID National Demonstration School. AVID stands for, Advancement Via Individual Determination. Our school is dedicated to closing the achievement gap by preparing all students for college and other postsecondary opportunities through AVID’s research-based strategies and curriculum.
