Attendance Awareness Month: December!!
- December is Attendance Awareness Month and we would like to focus on having each student at school every single day!
- Data has shown that students that are at school every day, get better grades and are far less likely to fall behind academically. These months, let’s strive to have Perfect Attendance!
- Additionally, The Semester ends on Dec. 18th, so please have your child at school each day to assist them with raising their grades for the Semester Report Card!
- Also, in order to attend the Semester Fun Day on Dec. 18th, students must have perfect attendance from Dec. 9th-Dec.17th.
- If you have an Absence that is unavoidable, please contact the office for a Short-Term Independent Study Contract (See information below).
Attendance: Short-Term Independent Study
- If you know in advance that your child will be absent for two or more days, please call our attendance office so we can place them on a Short Term Independent Studies contract.
- This Contract allows your child’s absences to be cleared so they do not count against their attendance. Your child would just need to complete any assignments they missed while they were absent.
